Welcome to Cala Santanyí

Cala Santanyí is a laid-back holiday resort and beach located about 10 kilometres from the charming town of Santanyi, on the south-eastern coast of Mallorca.

The 130-metre-long beach is made up of fine, white sand and the waters are clear and calm, perfect for families as well as for good snorkelling. Though it can get crowded in the summer, it is a Blue Flag beach, marking its cleanliness and high environmental standards. It is considered to be one of the top 20 beaches on Mallorca.

Several restaurants serving good beach fare, tapas, grilled fish and more. Here you can rent sunbeds and parasols and there are a few water sports and activities for hire including paddle boats and canoes. There are showers and toilet facilities onsite. Cala Santanyí is particularly popular with northern European families as well as Spanish visitors. There are pine and juniper trees along the low, rocky cliffs that surround this beach as well.

Cala Santanyí is easily accessible by car, following the signs from the main road that connects to Santanyí. There is a large, paid parking lot right at the entrance to the beach, as well as parking along nearby streets. The local bus makes stops here from the nearby resort town of Cala d’Or. This beach is very accessible for wheelchairs and for the disabled as there is a paved walkway.

This is also a good spot to anchor a boat for the day with its sandy base and deep waters. The nearest port with facilities can be found at Cala Figuera. In the summer months, there is a lifeguard on duty all day. Cala Santanyí is a blue-flag beach, and it is important to respect its strict rules with trash and cleanliness.
